Uchenna is a senior social development expert with more than 14 years extensive hands-on experience in project & people management across Education; youth and leadership development; empowerment and entrepreneurship; livelihood support, community development and advocacy programmes.
He has served as the Executive Director, Centre for Memories (CFM) in Enugu where he provided strong leadership for the Centre that focused on documenting and promoting Igbo memories, culture, history and excellence.
As a former Executive Secretary of The Bridge Leadership Foundation (TBLF), based in Calabar, he successfully developed and led a 5-year repositioning and growth strategy of the NGO within the broad context of the local, national & international landscape.
Uchenna worked as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of CVL (Centre for Values in Leadership) an NGO founded by Prof Pat Utomi from 2006 to 2017. His work at CVL contributed a lot to turning around CVL and repositioning it to be a premier leadership organization in Nigeria.
He holds a certificate in Social Sector Management (SSM), a transformational leadership programme at the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of the Pan Atlantic University. Uchenna holds a First degree in Philosophy, First Class honors, from Imo State University, Owerri and from Pontifical Urban University Rome.
As a youth enthusiast, he has contributed in impacting and shaping the lives of thousands of young people and is driven by the passion of building and developing young people.
He currently serves as the Director, Business Development and Communications at the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) where he is engaged to drive NCF’s stakeholders’ engagement, develop new opportunities, build and expand the presence of the organization locally and globally.
